Well it's been a long and challenging year.......

I've had relationship meltdown, three close mates passed away into the ether in as many months, my truck was stolen and then returned, my other car was towed by the council. My new love is now an old love, broken hearted, broken bones, broken dreams and the list goes on. It's been a productive year also with new art being pumped out at a great rate of knots when i've been in the right heart space. It's a bit of a challenge thou doing activation art when i'm not in the heartspace of my own activation! Aya has tough me this year to open my heart and to release it to the world and alow for my own happiness to shine........ lets see where i can take it

2012 here we come, time for a new beginning. Time to charge the batteries and start a fresh. Time to take life by the horns and spread my own lightwork with the world.........

Love is.
Melt like a beeswax candle on the dashboard of your car on a hot summers day.... Feel the warmth and relaxation of releasing the idea of what or who you are, melt. Only to reform in the cool evening to the new contours of your awareness, for this is the opportunity to experience death vicariously, to practice for the maha-samadhi at our own bodily demise.

Pain is my attachment to what is not love and will heal with time and acceptance, what is left, like the ashes out of which the Phoenix rises is essence and the Seed planted in this pure ash grows a tree full of deep rooted character and beautiful fragrant flowers but most of all will grow enough sweet fruit to nourish all souls!! Love in this time of transition, for that is all there is. Love

1 days work using painter 12. First day on a new program, just trying to get upto speed with it. Not too bad for a couple of hours work with a program i've never used. Just need to get all my pattern brushes loaded and change all my brush options from illustrator and photoshop to corel so they are all interchangable........ ahhhhhh learning learning learning.

Added a Fractal fingertip forest and made a couple of little adjustments but pretty much spent the arvo, making new fractals and helping a mate finish a project. Not long now!

Nearly finished..... Re did about twelve layers as i've had issues with Layer Options, too many filters on too many layers. It was loosing all it's effects when i'd flatten it. I went back in and pulled all the layers apart reopened them in a new document then one by one redrew them all and flattened them before importing them back....... CRAP, but it looks a treat now and it's nearly finished.

Part of a new one i'm working on. I keep loosing "Layer Options" etc, like transperancy values and style pallet options when i flatten the image, so it's a little different than expected. Pretty frustrating actually, but hey I'll sort it out..... Any idea's???

Sometimes it's a good idea to back stuff up.... lost about five years worth of digital art when i moved house...... hahahaha time for more new ones.... This is part of one i lost to the ether......

Heart Vs Brain

Preliminary study for my new piece....... seem to be stuck on something or one at the moment, so it's time for an opening of the heart and mind. Time for patience and a present mind. Let's see how far this one goes, pretty happy with the start of it right now. Reminds me of an old old painting that i did that ended up getting stolen!

This one's dedicated to one of those people. A digital mash up of old and new artwork showing the connection of spirits. Male and Female harmony only comes from the ability to love ones self. Learning to be the best "u" ever may just surprise you.

Wahoo, just landed a full beast of a machine...... 27" Imac i7 3.4ghz, 16GB ram, 2T HD, 2GB video card, Intuos 4 Digital Wacom tablet (m)......... STOKED AS!!

Prolly Shots @ the drains

Was lucky enough to meet up with pro blogger and all round "Mr Fix" John "Prolly" Watson last weekend. We met up at St Cloud bycicle shop on Gertrude st Fitzroy around 12noon, then headed to one of my favorite spots at Flemmington Drains. It's a mase of concrete, stetching over two kilometres long with banks, wallrides and gaps all over the place. I was feeling really sick, bursting all over with the flu that had kept me in bed for three days straight. Ended up getting a couple of really nice pics that Prolly uploaded to his website / blog. Turned out to be a lovely day out...........
